Hirotaka Uchida is a Principal in Arthur D. Little South East Asia and the Head of Arthur D. Little Thailand and leader of Automotive and Manufacturing Practice in South East Asia. Before joining ADL, Hirotaka worked in an US consulting firm and the consulting arm of a Big 4.
With over fifteen years of experience, covering markets such as Japan, Thailand, Singapore, China & Hong Kong, Hirotaka’s clients are spread across the Automotive sector (OEMs, Suppliers, Mobility players), Manufacturing industry (industrial equipment, electric appliances), as well as Energy, Utility, and Government Agencies.
His expertise lies in Strategy development and execution for existing and new businesses, R&D and sustainability/carbon-neutral solutions for the automotive, mobility, other manufacturing and energy companies. In recent years, he has focused on the transformation of mobility sector (EV, battery, fleet management, mobility services, etc.) and the innovation in energy/government sector towards Sustainability/Carbon neutrality.
Through his years of work in the Asia-Pacific region, Hirotaka has supported not only Japanese companies in Asia-Pacific but also local and other foreign companies as well as government agencies.
