Mr. Thanat Thammapromkul is the Chairman and CEO of EM Motor Co., Ltd., a pioneering Thai company specializing in the production and distribution of electric motorcycles under the EM brand. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore (2002), a Minor in Technopreneurship at NUS Overseas College (2002), and an iMBA from Tsinghua University (2010).
Inspired by the simple idea of creating a “bicycle for family” in 2016, he has since transformed EM Motor into a market leader in Thailand’s electric mobility sector. By 2023, EM Motor achieved nationwide expansion with more than 500 dealerships, comprising over 120 outlets for electric motorcycles and 450 outlets for electric bicycles.
Under his leadership, EM Motor continues to drive the adoption of clean mobility solutions, reinforcing Thailand’s position in the regional EV landscape.
